Welcome
This is the Parish Council web-site for the village of Hilton in South Derbyshire. The PC hope to make it a useful centre for information about the Parish and how the Council represents its Parishioners.
You can find information on Parish Council meetings, including the minutes from previous meetings. Articles and information from current and past Parish Council newsletters are also available on-line. There is also an extensive contacts page, helping you find the people to contact.
Furthermore there are sections covering events in the village; links to other community groups in Hilton; and a section on the village itself with useful links to other resources in the Internet.
Would you like to be a Parish Councillor?
There is currently one vacancy on the Council. If you are interested in becoming a Councillor then please contact Clare Orme at the
Parish Council Office for more information.
What's New?
- There is a new search option at the top of the page. The whole site is now completely searchable, including all the minutes and agendas.
- Please note the new contact information on the Parish Council page.
- A new link has been added to the Community Page.

PC Jim Bateman: "I have just joined the Hilton Village Forum online so if you have any queries then you can not only e-mail me direct but also place your issue on their where either myself or one of the girls can have a look and respond to you direct. You can find that at
www.hiltonvillage.co.uk∞. It also will give you this report literally hot off the press rather than waiting for it to come out in the directory.
So as you can see the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been working hard this month to tackle the various issues however I must stress that without public support we would not have half the results that we do and so a big thank you goes out to everyone that have assisted. Keep in touch with us and we'll keep bringin' 'em in!!
All the best."
